Is it worth having the coeliac test?

My private nutritionalist has performed a scio allergy test and it came up I was allergic to gluten. I’ve cut it out for two months and it’s still coming up as a high allergy – i.e. I must have coeliacs. I’ve been to the dr’s today (who was useless!) and I’m booked in for a blood test. But is it worth putting myself back on gluten just to prove I have a reaction to the dr’s? What do you actually GET from the NHS for coeliacs anyway? I heard it was just money towards bread? I feel so rotten when I eat gluten is it really worth going through all the nasty tests for the sake of a new entry on my medical records?

My son was diagnosed a celiac last summer, just by the blood test and how unwell he was. He is also anaemic due to not being able to absorb nutrients. It is worth being tested and going wheat and gluten free is not as hard as you think. Join Celiac UK web site for free and they send you a fab little book that lists all the shops and supermarkets that sell free from food. If you have tummy pain and feel weak and tired all the time and need the loo. You could well be a celiac and its to dangerous to leave it can lead to organ failure and cancer. You can get a lot of care from a good Dr. who will give you a prescription for food stuff like bread,cakes,pizza base and white mix that replaces flour.

Why do Scientologists think members of anonymous are gay ?

That’s about the most generalized statement I ever heard. Aren’t statements like that considered suppressive to you scio’s ?
Yes I know about anonymous. I merely pointing out that the manner in which scio’s attack anonymous is contrary to the teachings of their PTS/SP courses. They use suppressive broad generalizations, which is a characteristic of a suppressive person accoring to L Ron Hubbard, the kind Tom Cruise refers to in that wierd Scientology event video.

A couple thoughts:

CofS spokespeople and OSA handlers are hypocritical. They frequently go against their own "tech" and "policy". I’ve seen it many times.

They really really hate the Anons.

They honestly believe that anyone who would protest and picket like that has got to have something wrong with them. Most people – even non Scn’ists- tend to assume that if something’s probably wrong with a person, that it’s sexual. Not unlike guys who call women "frigid bitches" or "lesbians" if the women don’t like them, won’t date them, or stand up to them. I’ve seen sexual slurs used by many people when the situation present had nothing to do with sex.

The anons can be rather mocking. This equates to "covert hostility" in Scn’s book. Now, of course, all kinds of people can be covertly hostile, still, Scn closely identifies gays (actually Hubbard made the same allegation about promiscuity, too, but people don’t pay attention to that one) with "1.1 behavior" (covertly hostile behavior) So it ends up being:

Anon=snide/mocking/covert= 1.1=must be gay!
